"E is for Engadine"

I thought better of wearing my Emerald Evening gown on my Escapade today - didn't want it getting grubby on the bus and train.

I Entered the 940 bus across the road from home (still Exciting to not have to hike several blocks to get it) and headed for Penshurst station to switch to the train. Entertained myself with a new novel to read on the way.

Emerged from the station tunnel onto the Enchanting streets of Engadine in search of a chocolate Eclair for morning tea. No such luck in any of the cafés so I quickly Emptied my plate of a very nice cinnamon scroll at Picasso Espresso Bar.

Entertained myself in some lovely gift shops (Found, Honey & Oats) as well as the usual parade of discount stores, home stores, and newsagencies.

Eggs Florentine and English Breakfast tea were not at all hard to Endure for lunch at Figgies to give me the Energy for the trip home (after Exchanging the coin of the realm for an Eclair to take home for my Evening repast).
